Namibia and NIK Software

I'm constantly exploring for new ways to present my photography. Recently, I purchased some plug-in from NIK software and it's fantastic!

Santa Monica Pier at night

On January 26th, 2011 I took a continuing education class at Santa Monica City College. The class was called Night Photography: The Technical Details with Brian Leng. Night photography and taking photos of city lights is not really something I ever visualized myself doing. Mainly because I just get so tired when the sun goes down but I always saw myself shooting wildlife and landscapes on different continents around the world. But here I was, on the Santa Monica Pier and I was having a great time. I was thinking outside the box and learning new things about my camera.

Reflections

When I'm outside photographing nature I like to look for reflections. It give a snse of dimension and depth. Here's a shot I took of Pink Flamingos while I was in Tanzania.
